Hi everyone, hope you ca help. I'm a html newby, anything I know I've bben teaching myself. I'm getting the hang of things pretty easily, but this image/pics thing is stumping me. I know the simple img tag, but is there more? Only this little box appeared, when I opened my page in internet explorer. Say I wanted to create a family page, how do I add the pictures? What is needed more than the img tag? Thanks!

(<img src="url/filename.gif"width="%or#ofPixels"height="#ofPixels"alt="Description of pic here">) HTH, you don't need all of the above, but src and (for accessibility) alt are essential. Oh, there is another description tag you can use instead of alt, but I don't remember right off what it is, and from my understanding screen readers are usually set by default (or at least Jaws is) to use the alt tag, and most users that I know of don't change it.
